Jones & Russell's Express was formed by William Russell
and John Jones in May 1859. The express operated between
the mining towns, via Denver City, to Leavenworth City,
Kansas Territory. The company assets were taken over by
Russell, Majors and Wadell when the C.O.C & P.P. Express
Company was formed in October, 1859.
